I am trying to get this job next week and am very rusty with surgery codes! Can someone please help me out?

ON this report pt had these 3 procedures: Abdominal exploration would be 49002-22 from prior work-up was noted very complex Lysis of lesions and open right arenalectomy. Would you just code 49002-22 and adrenalectomy 60540-51? or I have all codes 49002-22 60546-51 44005-51 for lysis of lesions?

This stuff is sooooooo complicated! Someone please help?

you do not code for the approach. In this example the abd exploration will be considered the approach once the adrenalectomy is performed. The lysis of adhesions will be bundled so you would add a 22 to the adrenalectomy only if the documentation supports that the lysis is extensive and time consuming.
