When our doctors are performing a physical and of course the patient brings up other matters, eg: ingrown toe, cold etc. the doctors are adding on an E/M visit we add on a modifier 25 to the E/M code. I happen to see the modifier -33(preventive services). I don't really understand what it is talking about. Would this be a modifier that could be used? Thanks
