If the patient's past medical history has i.e. diabetes - yes, but the podiatrist does not have it documented as a current diagnosis on that particular visit can you still use diabetes for routine foot care? Going through the patient's chart the patient has always had normal blood glucose levels. We are a billing company and unsure if you can use the past medical history portion of the chart as a current diagnosis.
