Is it considered part of the medical record that should be retained as long as the medical record is retained? Or once the charge is entered, the sbl. scanned in, can we destroy it? Some superbill forms have a physician signature and some forms of the sbl. do not. I would love to find any documentation for superbills for reference. I know there is another thread out there similar to this question but it doesn't address all my concerns.
