I am trying to find out if anyone has had any luck with appealing POS RAC audits with Medicare. We have done corrected claims and sent them in with Medicare Redeterminations as the RAC letters suggest to do for an appeal, but our payments are being recouped anyway. I understood the letters from Connolly Healthcare to say that if you sent in a redetermination within 30 days from the date of the letter, that the recoupment process would be put on hold until a decision had been made about the redetermination. We have not received any correspondence from Medicare yet on any of our redeterminations.
I would appreciate anyone's input on how this is working!
