CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME WITH THIS. :confused:
WE RECENTLY CHANGED BILLING SERVICES FOR THE READING OF OUR XRAYS AT ONE OF THE CLINICS I CODE/BILL FOR AND THEY NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT NOT GETTING PAID. THE NEW COMPANY STATES NOW THEY CANNOT GET PAID BECAUSE THEY ARE:eek: STATING WE ARE CHARGING FOR THE TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPONENTS, WHICH WE ARE NOT. SHOULDNT THEY USE MOD 26? IN THE 2010 CPT BOOK, MODIFIER TC IS NOT THE BOOK:eek:
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME ASAP-THERE BILLING DEPARTMENT IS DRIVING ME :eek:
 
-TC is actually a HCPCS modifier; you won't find it in the CPT book. Not sure how to advise on your issue, but hope that helps somewhat.
