Wiki radiology code for picc supervision

Our radiologists read the images taken after a PICC line has been placed to ensure the placement is correct. We have tried to bill 77001 but can't bill it alone. What code would we use for this?

Who is actually placing the picc? If its your doc, that should work. If it's someone else, then your reading a chest x-ray in my opinion.

If your doc is only reading the CXR post picc placement the code would be 71010 1vw chest or 71020 2 vw. If somenone else placed it this is the only code t your doc can bill
