Can anyone answer or help direct me where I can find information on who is responsible for the transcription portion of the professional component of radiology readings. To give a history, our family practice provides x-rays and ultrasound services and then we send out these films to be read by a radiology group. The radiology group does their own billing of the professional component and we bill out for the technical component. Who is responsible for that report?
