Does anyone know the reasoning for codes like 93971 (Duplex scan of extremity veins including responses to compression and other maneuvers; unilateral or limited study) to be in the Medicine section of the CPT book and not in the Radiology section of the book? These codes really are radiology procedures correct? Thank you to anyone who can help. :confused:
