We are getting denials from Carefirst and UHC when we bill 87426 and 87635 on the same date. The 87426 is denied. It is denied for being mutually exclusive to 87635. Medicare and other carriers still pay for both covid tests. NCCI does not show that 87426 and 87635 are mutually exclusive. Any thoughts? have you run into this?
