If a pt is diagnosed w/ RAD as a child, we use dx code 313.89, but how should we be coding the dx once this pt is over 18? RAD is said to often be a lifelong issue, but I have a case where this dx is hitting edits b/c of the age of pt... Does anyone have suggestions of what other dx I may use? I've been researching and I can't find anything close.. please help!
