Looking for some guidance - if a radiologist utilizes the RECIST guidelines for tumor treatment evaluation - can she bill for that? Is it a clinical trial? Unlisted code? We did try billing RECIS with the "standard" fees for number of body parts evaluated - but these all get denied. I am working in A/R recovery and trying to find out how to bill these - they are radiology "reads"?? I think?
Any help is greatly appreciated
