I am setting up an appreciation program to recognize providers for their contributions in compliance. I would like some suggestions on possible criteria. We would do this twice in a year. One item would be for the manager to write up description demonstrating how this provider demonstrated compliance. Then I was thinking of some things that are measurable.

Thanks

Thoughts for measurable compliance indicators

Just thoughts....

- if your providers do their own coding, reward those with 98% and above accuracy
- documentation measures (sign/date/time all entries, orders for tests/procedures have clear and medically necessary reasons for test, etc.)
- Quality measures you may audit/monitor - again 98% and above.

Just a few items as food for thought...hopefully you get more...
