I just started at a medical clinic and they were asking me what the time frame is for record keeping of our source documents? Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks
 
Check with your state department of health or medical society. Each state has their own rules for how long records must be kept. In some states it is 10 years after the last visit or after the date of death.
