Can anyone tell me where to find a federal time limit for recouping claims paid in error? TriWest is recouping payment on claims from 2005 saying the patient wasn't eligible on the date of service. Our state's time limit is 12 months but since TriWest is the military contractor they would fall under federal guidelines. TriWest's guidelines state only that they follow industry standards. Anything that would help us in appealing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
