Which is the correct way to code rectal bleeding in pregnancy? 641.93 or 646.83, 569.3?

thanks for any help
 
Unless the bleeding is directly related to pregnancy, and antepartum hemorrhage codes don't really identify rectally. I would go with 569.3 with a 24 on your E/M or if the bleeding was a side mention at an OB visit, use it as a secondary code appended onto the pregnancy dx.
