HELP! Need advice on coding a rectal polyp. Path report states only "rectal polyp". I have been using 569.0 but now question if I should be using 211.4.....any help is appreciated. Thank you.
 
You were right the first time. The category of 211.--- is for adenomatous polyps so if it doesnt say that or is hyperplastic you have the right code.
