Hello,
In the situation where the physician documents " pt had inguinal hernia at age 30 and is now 50 and is here for a inguinal hernia" would the doctor have to actually report/document the word "RECURRENT" or can we conclude that this is a recurrent hernia and report the recurrent code? :confused:
