Patient had left laminectomy a year ago, now patient is going into surgery again for right side laminectomy on same level as previous surgery. My Dr is wanting to bill 63042. My thought is procedure was done on different side so I’m thinking it should be 63047 and 63048. Can someone clear this up for me. Thank you.
