Does anyone have any good reference material that would tell me what is inclusive to a procedure and what can be reported separately? For example, wound closures, are numbing adjents bundled and the injection fee?
I will be glad to know of any good reference material someone might have involved in billing and frequently missed charges in the ER dept as well.
 
I like CPT Assistant, and the specialty web sites can be helpful too. Also, Medicare's NCD's & LCD's (whatever they're calling them this year!) are helpful as well. If you have some idea of what you might want to code, checking the CCI edits helps too.
