I am billing for a general practice and am having a little trouble with some claims.

I generally bill 99213/99214 plus the other procedures that the doctor does. But for some of the procedures (94010, 94025, 36415...) Medicare is denying because there is no referring doctor.

Can I put this doctor himself as the referring provider, or are these just not going to be paid?

To clarify- the doctor bills under his practice in box 33, and himself in 24j

(Excuse my ignorance. I dont generally bill family practice)

Thanks
