A question has been posed to me by one of my providers and he is asking in what regulation or where does it state that physicians will have to have certified coders post ICD-10 and what are the specifics around that?
I have not heard of any such regulations and have done research and find nothing to support that. I told him I would defer to my professional organization for an answer and further guidance. Can you please help me?
