Wiki Reimbursement for Excision and Layer Closure

I have a medicare denial for a layer closure performed at the same time as an excision. Medicare bundled the service with the excision but I thought the two procedures should be reimbursed separately. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm in family practice and I don't see many of these.

They are separately payable, were there any other codes on the claim? what does the denial state? You may just need to appeal.
