Do majority of you get paid per unit for your post op pain management epidurals or at a percentage of Medicare reinbursement?:confused:
 
Placement of an epidural for postop pain mgmt is a surgical procedure, therefore, it is paid at falt fee rate for the CPT code. Daily rounds (01996) are paid at the Medicare unit anesthesia conversion rate x3.
