Hi everyone...I need a little help.
My primary surgeon had to scrub out near the end of the surgical encounter and another surgeon scrubbed in for the remainder of the procedure. There was only one procedure performed for chest wall abscess. Don't really think co-surgeons, the second just finished for the first-over seeing resident...only one was in OR at a time so not really assistant surgeon...not sure what modifier to append to capture for both providers. He is listed as "second attending surgeon".
