Hi, I have recently graduated from my coding course and am still in the process of studying for my CPC (insert nervous emoji). I hope to take the exam by the end of 2016/beginning of 2017. In the meantime, my current position at my place of employment is Billing Specialist. My experience is in aging A/R, entering charges, posting payments, insurance verification, along with some coding responsibilities and a long list of other things! I have about 20 years of experience in the medical field as both an Office Manager and Billing Specialist. I'm thinking about looking for some part-time or PRN work as a remote biller in the hopes of getting a feel for how remote work is, as I hope to gradually transition into a coding position at some point. Does anyone have any experience with working with NueMD or Larsen as a remote biller? Does anyone know of any other remote billing agencies that they can recommend for this kind of work?
