I billed a remote pacemaker with code as 93294, no modifier and with dx code as V45.01. Mcare denied as not medically necessary.... Has anyone had problem with this? I know that I will need medical records but am I coding this correctly?

The correct diagnosis should be V53.31 and remember that 93294 can only be billed once every 90 days.
