patient seen post Laparoscopic lysis of adhesions(done with another provider) for removal of intrauterine catheter. is there a specific CPT code for the removal or is it included in E/M?
 
The catheter removal does not have a CPT and would be included in E/M.
And not to open a can of worms, but why wouldn't the surgeon be performing the postop care? Was this a transfer of care??

procedure was done out of state and patient wanted to follow up with her GYN
