Removal of sebaceous cysts

Would someone mind sharing their policy for removal of sebaceous cysts?

Are you submitting symptomatic cysts to insurance, for eg: the ones that are the inflamed, bleeding, change in physical appearance, etc. or do you consider them self pay cosmetic service?

It seems that most patients expect their insurance to cover the removal of cysts and are dismayed when they are told that only symptomatic lesions are covered. On the other hand some hear that asymptomatic lesions can be submitted for reimbursement.

Thank you for your attention
