I have a doctor that removed a 85 mm screw from the femur due to pain and replace it with a 80 mm screw. How would I code this? I have 20680 for the screw removal, but do it use 27507 for the replacement screw? I would appreciate any help I can get!:confused:
 
No he doesn't mention an osteotomy. He just plainly dictates incision made 85 mm screw removed and exchanged for 80 mm screw. I really would appreciate any input on how to code this. I would appreciate any input I can get on how to code this.
