When coding a renal or scrotal doppler (93975-93976), how much documentation of the blood vessels needs to be in the report? Does the aorta, renal artery and renal vein support a renal scan? Does the testicular vein and artery support a scan? Or do minor vessels need to be mentioned to justify a complete scan?
