During a basic left heart cath:

" Cather was then used to engage into both renal arteries selectively (the patient has a history of uncontrolled hypertension). This Renal angiogram showed that both renal arteries were wide and patent. "

Results:

." ......this was followed by a renal angiography showed both renal arteries were wide and patent. the right renal artery had a mild narrowing about not more than 10%. The left renal artery was smooth."

Would this be 36252?

Thanks!

I agree with Cyndi since the renals were "selective" but would also make sure I have medical necessity. Medicare (if MC patient) is a real pain about those. Otherwise, I'd use G0275 if non-selective.
