27695 Repair, primary, dirupted ligament, ankle; collateral
or 27696 both collateral legaments
or 27698 Repair secondary, disrupted ligament, ankle, collateral (eg Wastson-Jones procedure)

The components of the collateral ligament are often affected in sprained ankle type injuries, Code 27695 reports first time repair of a disrupted collateral ligament. Report 27696 for repair to more tha one collateral ligament.
