Repair of intraoperative serosal injury by second surgeon

An Ob/Gyn performed extensive lysis of adhesions during a hysterectomy which created several serosal injuries to small intestine. My general surgeon took over to suture the injuries. May the Gen Surg submit a charge for this? If so, would it be unlisted such as 44238 or 44603? Thanks for any recommendations.
