Patient had TKA on 09/16/2020. Patient was non-compliant and torn the joint capsule.
Surgery on 11/02/2020 was open repair of right knee joint capsule.
What CPT code would I use for this procedure? Op report states sutures were cut, bone drill holes were placed, a #5 Arthrex FiberWire was passed through the medial capsule and then through bone drill holes at the patella level. Sutures were cut and tagged. Proximal at the level of the quadriceps tendon, #5 Arthrex FiberWire was utilized in a figure-of-eight configuration.
