Patient had laceration with foreign bodies. Physician removed foreign bodies after initial x-ray. He then re x-rayed to see if he got all foreign bodies out. This happened for a total of 3 x-rays of the same structure. Does this satisfy the 59 modifier rules? Can the 2 x-rays have the 59 modifier applied?

If the CPT is the same, I would use -76. If all of the x-rays are, say, 73130, I would code one without the -76 and the other 2 with the -76.
