Hi
I have a patient who had YAG procedure done a few weeks ago at a different facility.The pt. came for a routine visit in our practice and the physician determined that another YAG procedure is required.
I know that you can bill for YAG only once,but since it will be performed by a different physician,can my physician bill for the YAG ?
Modifier 77 is not proper because the service is not performed within 24 hours of the initial procedure.The only thing I can think of is modifier 78.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
