Always a bit of confusion with this:
Here's a scenario I need help with:
Patient A gets admitted 5/14 @ 8pm by resident – Faculty 1 precepts admit over the phone and co-signs resident H&P note.
Faculty 2 actually sees patient on 5/15 and co-signs resident progress note same date.
Is admit billed by Faculty 2 and dated 5/15? Or 5/14?
Or billed by Faculty 1 and dated 5/14?
