Hello!
This is my first time posting in the forum and I hope this is formatted correctly.
I have recently been given the Teaching facility Family Medicine Clinic in my hospital's network. Of course ,these are 95% resident encounters. I code both GC and GE modifiers. My question is, what is the highest level of E/M that can be billed? I was under the impression that 99203/99213 is the highest that can be billed. My manager said that during COVID this was waived but needs to double check to see if it is still in place. Can anyone provide a definitive answer? Any other advice with residents would be greatly appreciated.
