What codes would you bill for Doctor's E&M charges in a residential facility. We bill POS 55 and I am having a hard time finding information on residential treatment centers. (RTC's) Thanks for any help!!
 
Residential psych falls under the Nursing Facility portion of E&M. I'm not sure if drug and alcohol residential falls under it or not
 
Thanks! We bill POS 55 with HCPCS H0018 form some insurance companies and Rev 1002 with HCPCS H0018 for others. Our Doctor will visit with clients for medication checks and monitoring so it's not actual psych time.
