I still get confused sometimes when trying to determine level of service for an E/M. Is there a good resource book out there that helps in explaining/clarifying E&M coding? Determining the # of diagnosis, level of MDM is so confusing sometimes, it would be helpful to have a good resource that explains things in a clear concise manner. Any suggestions???
 
I've seen the author Carol Buck mentioned here for E/M resources. I'm not sure of the name of the book, but I think you can search her on Amazon and it should come up...Maybe someone else can chime in with more info on it. I like the website www.emuniversity.com . Lots of good info, and it's from a doctors standpoint. A bit satirical, but very helpful!
