I am looking for recommendations for a resource to provide benchmarks for coding productivity in a variety of specialties: vascular, cardiothoracic, and general surgery as well as outpatient and inpatient E&M services. I've been scouring the forum here and have seen many posts on the subject but I am looking for something in black and white from a reliable source.
 
MGMA has some good resources. I have used those for our coders and the seem quite realistic. If you don't have access to the website or know someone who does, they have a really great book called The Physician Billing Process that is helpful.
