One of our docs gets a recurrent hospice patient in the SNF maybe twice per month. He has to do some paperwork for what may just be a 2-4 day stay, but rarely even gets to see the patient because they're in and out so quickly.

I can't find anything that he can bill for this since he doesn't see the patient face-to-face. It does continually take time to get the patient admitted, orders, etc., and he's asking if there is anything he can bill.

Any suggestions? I think he either has to see the patient or it's on the house.
