How often do you look at your providers for a retrospective audit? We are a 700+ facility. We do other types of audits.

Hi, we audit 350+ and exclusively do the retrospective audits and try to reach each provider annually. There are ad hoc audits that often come up and must be addressed immediately. We do reaudits, also retrospectively, as needed.
 
Retrospec tive Audits

We are moving towards more risk oriented audits. Currently if a provider has passed 2 retro audits we move them to 18 months. We are considering moving them to 2 years. This would allow time to more of the risk areas.
