A patient returns to the hospital after the delivery of her baby for pp pre-eclampsia. I understand that she is still covered under the global package. But, how will I bill out the hospital visits? Can anybody help me. Thanks

For E/M services rendered during the global period, but not included in the global package, we use modifier -24. If the claim is still denied as part of the global fee, we appeal with chart notes, with good results.
