I was asked to use rev code 931 - Meidcal Rehabilitation Day Program
Code which indicates charges for medical rehab services as contracted w/a payer & or certified by state. Services may include PT, OT & SP. According to the billing instructions this code requires FL-46 unit services to be reported as"0" & FL-47 as "0" as well. Is this code a Reporting Only Code?
for Out Pt OT, PT & SP I always use Rev Codes 420, 430, 440 so I don't know why I would need to use 931. Any input is appreciated. Thanks :)
