Revision of Colostomy 44345

I have a case where there was a revision of a colostomy (2 days post op,) however, the revision was not a relocation.

The laparotomy incision was reopened.
Colostomy was taken down.
4 cm of necrotic segment was resected out.
The ostomy site was resected with electrocautery.
Mucosa inverted and colostomy created.

I know that the Coder's Desk Reference is subjective but it interprets a relocation of the ostomy site and does not mention resection of a portion of the colon. The colon end was resected but without the "typical" anastamosis.

Which direction would you feel most appropriate?

Thank you in advance.
