Does anyone know if there is a time span for doing an RFA on a patient? if so what it is and where i can find it?

The practice guideline that is cited in many of the payer policies is that of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) which says that "the suggested therapeutic frequency for RF treatment should remain at intervals of at least 6 months or longer per each region treated (maximum of two times per year), provided that 50 percent or greater relief is obtained for 10 – 12 weeks."

Hello,

Payers do have limits, but you'll need to review the specific payer's policy.
