Hello everyone! I had a quick question regarding a procedure one of the physicians at my office will be doing. He is going to be removing a cancerous mass in the right renal bed. The problem is, the patient has had their kidney removed already so it is an empty space. From what I am seeing, all of the codes for a mass removal in that area are related to the kidney. Is there another type of code I should be using for this procedure or will I have to use an unlisted code? Thank you very much!
