Does anyone have any specific guidance on whether face-to-face encounters within a nursing home are eligible for risk adjustment HCCs? I have always considered it a non-eligible place of service, but recently an external vendor and local payer have indicated that it is eligible, but I have no literature to support that claim. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
